A more professional axe for those who want to limb a felled tree in the traditional way. Forged to a thin, curved bit and sharpened to make it suitable for cutting branches in fresh, resinous wood, spruce or pine. The long handle gives extra strength and power to the cut. The axe has a 3½ inch face and a 25 inch hickory handle and the head weighs 2lb. It comes with a grain-leather protective sheath.

Every Gransfors Bruks axe head is hand crafted by a professional smith who, when satisfied with his work, stamps his initials on the axe head.
